Ports North is responsible for the development and management of port facilities vital to the economic growth of Cairns and regional centers in Far North Queensland. The Corporation has extensive property, marina, tourism and cargo facilities in Cairns and its regional ports. An exciting opportunity is now available for a forward thinking, proactive and highly experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to the CEO and Management Team.
Your new role
You will deliver high level administration and customer service support which will include effective communication, preparation of documents, meeting minutes, presentations, dictation, diary and email management including follow up.
Other duties will include:
Administration and support for meetings, travel, projects, information requests and monthly reporting
External stakeholder engagement and representation
Administration of expenses, reconciliation and allocation
Liaising with Managers ensuring follow-up and actions are completed including delegation of issues to other team members Your confidence, experience and organisational skills will enable you to take complete ownership in the provision of high level administration and secretarial support.
What you\'ll need to succeed
We are seeking a proactive and team focused individual for this role - you will be an experienced Senior Administrator ideally with some previous skills in working with and for an Executive Leadership Team. You will be a self-motivated and efficient operator who can task manage effectively, work with a variety of stakeholders and have superior IT skills to prepare data and presentations for positive effect. Being super organised will come as 2nd nature along with a superior customer focused approach and exceptional track record of success in a similar position.
